Guy Forsyth
Years ago, I remember seeing Guy Forsyth play for tips at the 311 club on 6th Street. There couldn't have been more than 15 people in the club. Now, Guy, with his band, is sure to pack people in wherever he plays. I would absolutely recommend buying any of his albums, especially Needle Gun.

Toni Price
Low Down and Up by Toni Price has been receiving great praise, rightfully so. The first Toni Price album that I ever heard was Hey. The album was given to me, and I was a little unsure if I'd like it. I am grateful to the person who gave me the album. I would rate Toni Price as one of Austin's best musicians. Although she doesn't necessarily get the recognition she deserves in Austin, her following is growing around the country. A coworker of mine saw her perform live recently. He reported that the show was awesome, and he was extremely impressed.

Vallejo
When I bought the self-titled album, Vallejo, the CD went into my CD player and didn't come out for at least two weeks. Each time I played the CD, I had to play 'Forever' a couple extra times. Two years later, it's still one of my favorite songs. I've never seen them live, but I'm told that you haven't experienced the greatness of Vallejo until you do. Check out
