Austin
is not called the 'Live Music Capital of the World' for nothing. On
any given night of the week, you can choose from dozens of bands performing
live. At Joe's Generic Bar, you're likely to hear a blues/rockabilly
band playing for tips. Or, you can check out some jazz at the Elephant
Room or Cedar Street. You may even be adventurous enough to watch Sinis
play at the Flamingo Cantina. Whatever your tastes, odds are you'll
stumble upon a band that will get you groovin'.
Austin
has been very fortunate in terms of talented artists. Many of the local
bands have produced albums that have gained popularity on a national
scale. Bands such as Fastball, Arc Angels, and Storyville are just a
